Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities “Euro-Balkan” announces the new application round for postgraduate students in the following study programs:

1. Gender Studies (philosophy and gender and sociology and gender)
2. Studies of Southeastern Europe 
3. Cultural Studies
4. Byzantine Studies

The Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities “Euro-Balkan” is a scientific research institution certified by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia and is accredited to implement scientific activity on post-graduate level in gender studies (philosophy and gender and sociology and gender), Studies of Southeastern Europe, cultural studies, and Byzantine studies.

The study programs are organized according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) enabling simple procedures of worldwide recognition of the diplomas acquired here. The Institute is part of the European University Charter Erasmus, which allows the students to have exchange terms in European universities.

Students have access to a rich library which is updated twice a year giving students the opportunity to get acquainted with most recent authors and works. 

Applicants are expected to have excellent knowledge in English. 

Application documents needed: 

• Diploma of higher education
• Short biography (CV)
• Letter of motivation (150-300 words)
• Application sheet signed personally (you can download the aplication here)

The application round lasts until June 21^st 2011.
